The Cagayan State University was established on June 11, 1978 by virtue of Presidential Decree 1436 merging the Cagayan Valley College of Arts and Trades and The Northern Luzon State College of Agriculture and College, Aparri Institute of Technology, Aparri School of Arts and Trades, Bukig National Agricultural and Technical School, Gonzaga National Agricultural and Technical School, Sanchez Mira Rural and Vocational School and
Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades.

These schools are strategically located in the Province of Cagayan. 

The Cagayan State University is mandated by its charter to provide better services in professional and technical training in the arts, sciences, humanities and technology. The main missions are academic, instruction, research, extension and production.The purpose of the university is to provide advanced education in the arts and sciences, give professional and technical training; encourage and undertake research, conduct training and extension services; and encourage the application of knowledge.

Through a presidential approval dated March 17, 1983, the secondary level programs of CSU-Aparri, Lal-lo, Gonzaga, Sanchez Mira, were fully integrated into the university while CSU at Lasam and Bukig were maintained as extension campuses.

1.Development of Centers of Excellence and Centers of development in the areas of medicines, engineering, agriculture, technology, teacher education, fisheries, sciences, arts, and graduate education;

knowledge generating and knowledge consuming entities to strengthen
instruction, research, extension and production;3.Institutionalization of information highway for global internetting;

4.Establishment of sustainable business enterprises for fund generation;

5.Establishment, development, and strengthening of alternative delivery system
to cater the education needs of the disadvantaged vulnerable sectors in Region.

6.Continuous accreditation of curricular programs of the eight colleges of the
University.

2.GOOD FILIPINOS – imbued with desirable valor’s of simple living, modesty,
honesty, cooperation, self-discipline, pride for our national identity and love of

and country.

4.MATURE PEOPLE - having well-balanced and pleasing personalities, who care
and appreciate truth and beauty in all its forms.

Future Career Options:

This program enables the students to establish themselves as professional
medical doctors. It has been designed to rigorously train them in the forefront
of Medicine and prepare them for the necessary screening tests conducted
by the various Medical Councils and afterwards, for them to successfully
establish a medical practice in their country of origin.

Duration and Application:

First part is called the Bachelor of Science and the duration is for 16 months ( 3 semesters )During this period the students should take part in NMAT tests – NMAT exam which is held in April and December every year (This test is to check their knowledge and shall be 2 times a year)

Then the MD (Doctor of Medicine) program runs for another 4 years.

Taking NMAT test is compulsory to get into the medical program.

There are around 10,400 college students in the university. Approximately 600 are graduate students while the rest are undergraduates.

There are available alongside the spacious lecture theatres and seminar rooms and wide range of other facilities for students.

The university provides free medical and dental check-ups. Minor ailments are also treated at the medical and dental clinic.

Canteens and cafeterias are found in the campus. These provide meals and snacks at reasonable prices. School supplies and some grocery items are also sold in the canteen.

Each college/department holds intramural every year with sports as the main activity. A university-wide sports competition is likewise conducted yearly to establish camaraderie among the eight satellites of the university.

HOSPITAL:

The CSU College of Medicine is affiliated with Cagayan Valley Medical Center, an authorized teaching training agency of the Department of Health.

Additionally, it is a first-rate public hospital with integrated health care services, accredited teaching and training capabilities, thus, providing optimum and comprehensive health and medical services to people. Other recognized affiliations include hospitals in Quezon City and Manila such as Veterans Memorial Medical Center, East Avenue Medical Center, AFP General Hospital and San Lazaro Hospital

LIBRARY: 

The College of Medicine is equipped with the latest facilities, alongside an extensively maintained Medicine library which houses ample stocks of the latest books and publications in the field of medical science.

UPH GLOBAL ACADEMY

University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in partnership with Debarry and Associates, LLC, launched the UPH Global Academy in Tokyo, Japan.UPH Global Academy was established to provide English lessons to Japanese through on-line learning.

Application and Visa :

ADMISSIONS :

The student can apply in any of one the following options:

Print it, Fill it and send us a scanned copy by email toinfo@doctorsabroad.in

1. Once we get your application we shall write back to you with questions , comments and
details.

2. We submit Your Application to the admission committee for international students of
university.

3. The University will give us the instruction as to accept the application or reject it.

4. If the University instructs to proceed with the admission of student we intimate you.

5. We do all the formalities and send you the acceptance letter from the University.

6. The students remits the tuition fee to the university account directly

7. Once the student transfers the tuition fee then he/she shall pay the processing fee to
our Malaysia account. [This shall be Intimated to you in the form of an Invoice]

8. Once the acceptance letter is given to the student the student has to submit his
passport copy.

9. Then the student applies for the visa in the nearest Embassy/ Consulate of Philippines
in your country.

11. The visa is issued and you notify us of the student’s date of journey.

12. The student travels to Philippines to the nearest airport to the University.

13. University officials and our officials shall be there in the airport to receive the student.

14. He/She is put in hostel of the university.

15. The next day the student pays the tuition fee to the international student department
and joins the course.

16. If the student has any problems, our officials are there 24 hours to help the student.
